Blue baby dragon egg

“New beginning” – a blue baby dragon – rework fron an older version.
Yes, I love when dragons are blue.

reworked on march 2024

Older version: EGG TOOTH

An egg tooth is a temporary, sharp projection present on the snout of a bird… or a dragon! It allows the hatchling to penetrate the eggshell from inside and break free. When a baby dragon is ready to hatch from its egg, it begins the process of “pipping”; forcing the egg tooth through the shell repeatedly as the embryo rotates, eventually cutting away a section at the blunt end of the egg, leaving a hole through which the dragon may emerge.

#dragonary2023 is an annual inspirational event about drawing dragons thanks to the prompts given by master @matthewstawicki . These are daily sketches (pencil, photoshop, and Cintiq) I hope to transform into full paintings during the rest of the year.
Pencil, photoshop, Cintiq.
