Thaidakar is a sorcerer who’s arcane focus is his broken dagger that maintains its shape with missing pieces filled in with shadow. He has a scar across his neck that was given to him from the beast that raked its claws along his neck and cut his jugular. The scars are rather faded, but still visible and slightly raised. He’s sitting down in a tavern with Dottie, holding a ring she had just given him and looking torn between sadness, gratefulness, and unworthiness. Trying to capture the brokenness of the character who receives a boon they feel they don’t deserve from a character he has come to love. – Tanavast
The moment is between a Drow Shadow Sorcerer and a Peace Domain Furbolg. The furbolg is a bit of a naive individual who is constantly at odds with the Drow who believes that protecting people at all costs is the best way to resolve conflict. Both have been cursed by a lord of the nine hells after agreeing to burn his idol in defiance against him. Thaidakar, (Drow) feels like it’s his fault and he feels powerless to help and keep his friends safe and in that moment of weakness, Dottie comes to sit with him and hands him the platinum ring. She tells him that he is the strongest person she has ever met and she knows that his intentions are good. She gives him the ring so they are connected in a way to protect each other, reminding him that when they were cursed, he took her hand when the fear swept through her and told her that together they will face this.
