He seems a knight, but in truth he’s a dragon who took a human-like form. The dragon is watching from the upper part of the helmet, while the human face is just a fake part of the illusion.

Video process
In this video, I’m working on a digital sketch of one of the seven illustrations I created for fantasy author Richard Knaak, for the Dragonrealm project. It’s a portrait of Gryphon. I drew the original sketch in pencil, scanned it, and am now “redrawing” it using my SNote9 phone with a stylus and a drawing app. Retracing the pencil drawing is useful both for cleaning it up and for starting to add changes and details.
