Guardian of the aurora dragon

A dragon painting about my favorite subject: a blue dragon protecting his land. Sketched in January ’23, in March ’23 was reworked and dedicated to the aurora borealis.

Hidden among the misty silvery mountains, there’s a secret valley, a sanctuary for the most elusive creatures of the legends. A dragon, blue like the sky on a day of spring, alert like a hawk watching over his nest, stands guard against any intruder. The aurora borealis is such a rare phenomenon, not just for the beauty of the lights in the sky: there’s a dragon, immortal and ephemeral, whose existence is revealed only by the Northern Lights.
