A series of characters I painted for a DnD 5ed group: Heroes of Theros, a podcast by Lawful Stupid RPG. New heroes begin their quests in the world of Theros; can they bring glory to the Gods… or will they incur their wraith?
I had the opportunity to work not only with the LS-RPG project manager, but with each player: this way, other than receiving the brief about the character, I could show them the work in progress for big and fine tuning, until we had the final portrait.
Leonin Battlemaster fighter
Adrastos, leonin Battlemaster fighter, podcast “Heroes of Theros” by Lawful Stupid RPG, commission.
Noble Adrastos, Leonin of the Sunclaw, fights for the honor of his clan.
His necklace, displaying large teeth, is the symbol of his champion status in the Arena.
Centaur cleric
Agrios, Cleric centaur, podcast “Heroes of Theros” by Lawful Stupid RPG, commission.
Chaotic Agrios chases visions and spurs others to violence in pursuit of divine favor. Galloping forward, grinning with crazed excitement for the battle, his spear held out to the side, his shield gripped close at the ready. Wild-eyed, laughing, a bit crazy.
Satyr sorceress
Tycheros, Satyr sorceress, podcast “Heroes of Theros” by Lawful Stupid RPG, commission.
Curious Tycherós is a seeker of secrets, pursuing new experiences. All the way along her horns she has a number of greek stars roughly etched into them. These stars are also on her hands, both the back and the palms, almost like burn marks. Striking a happy, open, and confident pose or even be looking a bit cheeky as she is a very curious and charismatic satyr who loves to meet people and try new things. Good natured, smiling a lot but with a mysterious edge to her.
Druid triton
Observant Vara, a drifter led by the stars. She’s a triton, a kind of humanoid merfolk, and has a Symbol of Athreos on her telescope. Ambitious and kind, but with their head in the clouds. Circle of Stars Druid.
Arianna the amazon
Arianna, amazon warrior, podcast “Heroes of Theros” by Lawful Stupid RPG, commission.
Bold Arianna strives to lift up and support people to achieve greatness. Always a little cocky but in an endearing way… She believes she is always the best, but always looking to give a helping hand.
Ptolomaeus, bard orator
Eloquent Ptolomaeus believes that words can fix any problem… that or a bit of magic. He’s clever and intelligent. His hair is somewhat magical, showing a strange darkness punctuated by stars.
Hierax, Human ranger
In 2023 LS-RPG told me they had to add a new character to the group, so, it was time to go back to Theros. Nothing can escape Hierax’s acute eyes. His gaze is judging, as if staring intently at something in the distance.

The podcast adventure is set in “Theros” as described in the Dungeons&Dragons 5th edition “Mythic Odysseys of Theros:” a sourcebook that details the Theros campaign setting for the 5th edition of the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game published in June 2020.
