Raistlin Majere, black robe of the Dragonlance books by Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman, is regarding intently the dangerous artifact he stole from Fistandantilus: the Bloodstone. The necromantic artifact is the key of eternal life, the symbol of the evil actions of the Lich Fistandantilus and of the struggle between the ancient wizard and the younger but powerful Raistlin Majere.In his left hand, Raistlin clutches the Bloodstone, with his right hand he’s clawing at his chest, where a burning pain is devouring his lungs since his Test of High Sorcery: the Test in which Fistandantilus took hold of his soul.
