Daily study: the unicorn – After 15 years, it’s time to return to drawing unicorns. There’s still a lot of work that needs to be done, I need to “find again” the ease I had in the past with my favorite mitological creature.

For now, some practice. Sketching here and there, a dragon and something else passing by and saying hello.

My unicorns are forever inspired by this book:
“The unicorn lived in a lilac wood, and she lived all alone. She was very old, though she did not know it, and she was no longer the careless color of sea foam but rather the color of snow falling on a moonlit night. But her eyes were still clear and unwearied, and she still moved like a shadow on the sea.” ― Peter S. Beagle, The Last Unicorn – 1968
