Some comments from the people I worked with: I loved bringing their dream to reality through my art.

Winterhawk – Irda sorceress

“Elena created the scene that fits perfectly with the section from the book I am working on: Children of Hell III (Resolution). I have come to depend upon her insightful illustrations to add flavor to my books and characters over the years. I thank her for the illustration. I think it the best of all her work thus far included in my novels. While the Battle for the continent of Anchorome rages in the fields, Fawn, a High Ogre abandoned on the world Toril when she was a teen, casts a spell to pull the consciousness of Tiamat from her…

Ed Mekeel, Dragonlance Nexus

I discovered Greenedera’s art through a Facebook group the Dragonlance Nexus hosts. The piece was clever and whimsical, but had a hardline fantasy feel making it perfect to be on the cover for the gaming book we were planning to release. After that, it made the most sense to commission art directly from Elena. Her work has passionate energy that made our book, Tasslehoff’s Pouches of Everything, more beautiful with the dozens of commissioned art pieces she created. I can’t recommend Elena enough! She is patient, great to work with, makes deadlines and her art captures the imagination.

“Commissioning Greenedera was such a great choice. I found her through Tumblr and loved her incredibly detailed and lovely art style, so I knew I had to get my characters done by her. I had a pretty complicated pose in mind, with specific detailing on the characters, and I didn’t do the best in explaining what I envisioned. Even still, Greenedera was friendly, helpful, and did an excellent job of helping me sort out the details. I’m most grateful for her explaining the best way to make the final work look fabulous from an art perspective while also keeping to my…

Sometimes an artist makes something that you can actually be proud of just being a part of the project and that’s how I truly feel in this case! @Greenedera this dream became possible with this picture of my Vampire gunslinger Fernanda De La Cruz 😃 It is really rare that I see someone so focused on the attention to detail!

“As an author of Forgotten Realms fan fiction I was always looking for a talented artist for illustrations of my works. I went through several that had styles that were ok but was not what I wanted. A friend of mine within the NWN community gave me Greenedera’s name. What she produced for me was beyond my wildest dreams. She caught my characters as I see them when writing. Not only that, but she also captured their general personalities with her illustrations. I then commissioned her for my Onna-bugeisha character Miwa. Again, she did a superb job catching not only…

Merruschka – Night festival

This picture is based on a scene from my head as well! And once again: Just. So. Good. The lighting here is just amazing! And I really love how it’s balanced with yellow brighter cheerful tones on the one side and more purplish darker, more mysterious on the other! It basically gives off the perfect vibes for the characters and the couple in general. (I am in awe of how Greenedera keeps managing to pour so much creativity into her pieces and still keep details in mind that I gave her!) And I can just again say how beautiful and…

TheDeadTree – Adelard and Isabelle

The artist took my original brief and gave it so much life and personality, in ways I hadn’t even thought of – while checking in with me every step of the way to make sure it was in-keeping with the original concept. I had so many very specific ideas about how I wanted this to look and the artist somehow managed to perfectly capture every single one of them. Absolutely phenomenal!

I just got this finished commission from Greenedera art and I have to share it because it turned out AMAZING! This is my swashbuckler rogue Reia and her current LI, a gold dragon princess named Olea. The artist spent so much time getting a feel for each character and really brought the scene in my head to life. I can’t recommend her enough!

TheDeadTree – Isabelle portrait

I am completely in love with this piece. Everything from the style, to the expression, to the details in the clothing and accessories – it all ties with the character and shows off her personality in a really lovely and subtle way.

The artist is an absolute joy to work with, and captured the character so beautifully. The end result is better than anything I could have ever imagined.

MEDM, Lawful Stupid RPG

This artist is SPECTACULAR. The character art we commissioned for Echoes of Krynn went above and beyond what we could have hoped for. We were all quite pleased by the close attention to detail, adjustments based on feedback, and timely completion. The final results display not only great talent, but deep love and respect for the fantasy genre as a whole, and Dragonlance in particular. Thanks to Greenedera, the images in our minds now exist in living color and are a source of constant story inspiration. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

“Greenedera’s piece was the first piece of art I ever commissioned, a present for my brother celebrating a famous RPG adventure shared in our teenage years, and I wasn’t entirely certain about how it would go. It was a very nice experience. Greenedera was very constructive along the whole process, understood immediately the idea I wanted the drawing to capture, not an easy one I have to say, and created a beautiful and powerful image for us to reminisce about. I’m truly grateful for her work”D.

M. – Mother nature

This picture is very very dear to me. I had this image of a character that I wanted to see as a mother goddess, mother nature based on some of my headcanons and ideas and Greenedera simply nailed it with this.

Even if it sounds corny, this specific artwork helped me through a very difficult time and reminds me of a wonderful and beautiful friendship that I had with someone who alas passed away. But I know that my friend loved this image just as much as I do.

A very colorful and loving image with a lot of flowers…

Merruschka – Naut sunset

Another simply beautiful piece of artwork that I will forever admire. I am in love with the water and the sunset scene. This was a commission that was based on a scene I had given to Greenedera. She simply caught it perfectly. Despite it being a classic scene, she captured it in a very one-of-a-kind way.

The soft pastellic colors, the ship in the distance and the placement of the characters are cohesive and simply beautiful. Overall it gives me a sweet vibe with just a tiny bit of bittersweetness with the ship sailing off far away, giving me exactly…

JR Rainville – Vasco and Alex

“As a writer, I’m used to having scenes in my mind that I try to portray through words. And sometimes, words just aren’t enough–I want to get an actual scene done, something to look at that captures that moment visually and not just in words. A couple years back I commissioned Elena to do a scene from one of my fics after seeing her work in a group. Her work captured the spirit of the source material as well as the aesthetic, so I reached out.

Working with Elena was a fantastic experience! She’s not just supremely talented, but a…

Merruschka – Hardy winds, Vasco

The first time I encountered Greenedera was on Instagram! I found her artworks through some fandom tags and really admired her unique art style.

I got in contact with her and asked her to draw a couple I really liked for my personal collection. I told her about the people I would love her to draw and she simply captured the essence of those so well. The characters look better than I imagined them! She combines the given references with her own semi-realistic fantasy style and provides absolutely gorgeous artwork.

This picture was the very first one I received from…

“I came to Elena with a description of the characters from our Dragonlance campaign. I knew that her passion and love for the world would make her the perfect artist to bring our cherished heroes to life. She did not disappoint. With just the basic of descriptions she completely captured the tone and character of each of our champions and brilliantly brought them to life. She somehow reached into our minds and extracted the essence of our imagination and put them down for us to admire and display to our friends. It was fantastic and…
